A net-zero lab building of the future
This project for a speculative life sciences developer straddles an inflection point in construction - one where new buildings must meet a rigorous net-zero energy code. Mixing vision glazing in strategically with a mix of spandrels and shadowboxes maintains interior daylighting while minimizing solar heat gain. The BIM model was critical to managing the various curtain wall types.
